THE CHARACTER
Character Name: Takeru Sasazuka
Series: COLLAR x MALICE
Canon Point: end of the common route
Character Age: 24
Background: official website overview and official character profile. The "past events in his life" refers to an incident that occurred while he was living in America as a teen with his family; during a vacation, his mother was shot dead before his eyes when she accidentally walked into an ongoing turf war between rival gangs. She was an innocent bystander who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. This caused Sasazuka to hate guns - and also to develop a phobia of guns that can occasionally trigger intense anxiety attacks in him. He moved back to Japan due to its very strict gun control laws, enrolling as a cybercrimes investigator in Shinjuku's metropolitan police department, but, unfortunately, the quarantine and new firearms law were enacted not long after. Naturally, this is the reason he quit the police force, and instead began focusing all his efforts on solving the X-Day crimes for the sole purpose of reinstating the firearms ban.
Personality: Talk about your character's personality: their core traits, their strengths, their weaknesses, their motivations, and everything in between. Please note that this should focus on your character's personality and should not read like a history section. (Maximum 1,500 words)
Powers/Abilities: Sasazuka's greatest assets are his technological prowess and quick wit. He is highly intelligent and motivated, capable of successfully running his own small business at a young age for a time (until he got bored of it), as well as connecting evidence, solving puzzles, and picking up on small details that laymen might miss out on, as one might expect from an investigative officer. This goes hand-in-hand with his computer skills. He is a very talented hacker, although not supernaturally so. Nonetheless, he spends the entire game bypassing federal security systems in order to access internal police emails and crime scene reports not available to the public. Furthermore, he's able to crack and decode hidden messages, break into and take control of security systems remotely, and other such things. His skill is not unbeatable - he himself is hacked partway into the game - but it's certainly top-class.

Inventory: Nothing but his clothes and cell phone.
Incentives: The Orbiters want cooperation; they don't like to use force. For this section, we ask that you provide incentives that the orbiters could use to convince your character to work with them. Examples include: The guaranteed safety of their sleeping loved ones, special items from home, monetary benefit, new powers/magic, special healing from ailments — while they won't immediately gain these things, the Orbiters will consider it for the future.
